boost leaks

Lower injector seals are a very common place. Where the injectors sits in the head. Also all around the throttle body and BISS screw, anywhere there are couplers. Spray everything with soapy water.

Leaks can happen anywhere where there is vacuum/positive airflow. Only way to tell is by doing a boost leak test using a spray bottle of soap and water to look for bubbles. Yes, the injector seals are a common place as well as the throttle body. My AFPR even had a boost leak until I teflon taped the adjustment screw.

No, boost creep usually happens when you put on a large free flowing exhaust that causes the gas to route past the turbine instead of the wastegate because it's less restricting. Evo 3 16g turbos are very prone to creep and only a few ways to cure it:

1. Port the wastegate inlet and outlet
2. Go with an external WG off of the manifold unless you port and put the WG in the o2 housing
3. Put more back pressure in your exhaust (obviously this would be the last thing you would want to do)
For more info, do a search for boost creep :)

If your MBC is on backwards, you would have unlimited boost because the wastegate isn't opening. Basically the same thing as boost creep(very bad cases) but this would be from incorrectly installed parts/user error.

For your seals if you don't know already, you can find them on the supporting vendors sites. Search around for the best deal and if you replace one, you should just replace them all.

so my 3in turbo back exhaust might be part of the problem that sucks and on porting the waste gate not sure what you mean i know what porting is i guess im asking what part of it do i port and do i need to remove the turbo?
