Vancouver,
Alright after I installed my Fipk Kit I stated that it was alot lauder. Now im suspecting boost leaks since it seems weaker>?????? after the install??? also at a red light the factory boost guage reads 1/8th on the boost..???? does that indicate a boost leak? I know that i read that someone had their bov pop out and it read full boost on the stock gauge.? could this be an indication of boost leak? the car is definatly slower than it was when i got it.... I got destroyed by a 98 passat 1.8t he just walked away in all gears. I also did the bcs restrictor removal while installing the fipk and it seems slower now.. Could I have screwed something up?

Ill check it out tonight after work but now im sitting here just wondering. Would love some insight :) Thanks

PS. Im still waiting for my Autometer guage to come in. Its back ordered :(

the stock boost gauge is only the ECUs guess of what the boost level is probably at. You will have no idea how much boost (or lack there of) you have until you get and aftermarket gauge installed. and then do a boost leak test. then you will know if you have a boost leak. :thumb:

i just tinkered around and found that I forgot to plug in the harness for the BCS. Will this affect anything? what is the plug for in the BCS? (electrical portion)
