aluminum bearings?

i heard that aluminum bearings are good, then i heard there bad, well i dont know,, i plan on running stock head, it small 16g, 9.1compression, low boost so in not right back rebuilding the motor like i am now, i put in tri-metal bearing the first time and really didnt get much trouble from them.

Which is better - aluminum or tri- metal?

For lightly loaded engines (stock) Aluminum bearings are better because they conform better to irregularities in the crankshaft or metal particles in the oil. And they cost less.

In heavily loaded engines (like my stroker 4G63) tri-metal bearings are better because they will withstand higher loads. And they are worth the higher price; I use ACL race bearings.
