This post is for trying to make it easier to choose and order head gasket and head bolt/stud kit.

Head gaskets :
I excerpted only DSM section from manufacturer's catalogs. You can download it by clicking manufacturer's name below.
ARP off the shelf head bolt/stud kits :
Please refer the part numbers shown below to order. You can see each instruction that show recommended torque by clicking part number.

You can purchase most of those parts through supporting vendors in this forum. But not all vendors list all part numbers on their online store. Note :
Cometic show bore diameters and only .051" thickness for 4G63 (.040" for 420A) in their catalog. But you can select a bore diameter and a thickness from the chart below and combine them to make a part number. Select your desired bore diameter and then put your desired thickness as last 3 digit after dash (-) on part number.
For instance, if you want a DSM 86.00mm bore/.060" thickness gasket, you can order it as C4234-060.
* The standard thickness of Cometic head gasket for early 4G63 that you normally find on most of store is .051".
* Price of Cometic head gasket is normally separated by 4 levels according to the thickness range below.
.027~.051, .056~.075, .080~.098 and .120.
* Both 4G63 and 420A Cometic head gasket up to .051" have 3 layers, and .056" or thicker have 5 layers.

Note :
To install Boostin Performance 1/2" L19 stud kit on 6 Bolt block, you would need a 1/2-13" TIME-SERT thread repair kit in case if machinist doesn't have the right size tools. and Ten (10) 1/2-13 1.00" length inserts for a block. Also it requires to machine your cylinder head (Both 6/7 Bolt). TMZ Performance shouldered dowels for 1/2" studs are highly recommended, those are the right parts for this. And no more worries that you damage your cylinder head by torquing over 100 ft-lbs. (specific instructions for machinist come with the parts)
7 Bolt block, it doesn't require the Time-Sert inserts.
