I lost my AC bracket when I had my engine out and I need to know what the spacing is between it and the intermediate shaft carrier. And does it space both holes on the carrier, or only the most driver side one? Does the spacing need to be very precise?

Thank you and happy hollidays!

I believe you only have to space one, i think it is the drivers side one. I dont think spacing it with some washers will be a problem, just make sure its close to the right size.

I am using washers without issue. It is only one side. Be sure to see if you can turn the wheels freely after install. It will bind if that bracket is twisted.

Mitsubishi makes a spacer specifically made for this application - the part number is MB297732 and it is 8mm thick. If you would rather use washers then try to get as close to 8mm as you can.
