is the cooling fan blade the same as the condenser fan blade. Would each one fit on the other?

if youre asking about the radiator fans?? yes they are interchangable. a decent cheap mod is to have two of the "slimmer" fans. junkyards have em super cheap or even classifieds

You can pick up a high flow slim line fan cheap too, they mount universally. Almost anything flows better than oem

:nono: misinformation.

Do you know how many cfm's a stock fan is rated at? I have searched for the answer for this question and never found an answer. I don't believe anyone knows for sure. One thing I have found in my search is that some people who switch to slim fans have over heating issues and quickly return to using thier stock fans. That would lead me to believe that MOST slim fans do not outperform the stockers. Personally when I switched to 12" slim fans it caused my car to run a bit hotter in traffic and no I didn't use cheap fans. For me it's a non issue because I have other upgrades to keep my temps down under 200* but for someone still on a stock cooling system it may cause them to overheat.

I don't know off hand but if I remember right, it was around 700 or 800 cfms. One of the things about aftermarket fans alot of people forget is they don't have a shroud. You need to buy or make one so the airflow is directed. I have 2 spal
Fans and have the relay jumped so they run together, I needed room for turbo, wastegate, dumptube ect... And I don't have ac so I have a pusher in front and a puller on the back of mishimoto alum rad and I never run hot. Bought the spal fans because they only consume 11 amps but push like 1500 cfm's. Most that draw 11 amps are only 1000-1200. I still have them through the factory wiring too and it stays cool and doesn't pop the fuse

Link to where you found said information. Mitsu doesn't rate them and I have yet to find anyone who has tested them. All I find is speculation about how much they flow.

I'm trying to find it. I did my fans like 3 years ago. If you google it, you'll find a few opinions but there was a guy on one of the forums that did a bench test, he worked for a ventilation company. he tested a few set ups and he said the stock set up cooled very efficiently because of the shroud and running together that they pushed equivalent to 1600 cfm's. He said the shroud is key for coolin efficiency as it greatly lowers temps for both stock and slim. I read about it for awhile when I did mine and he had the most solid info and the guy's awd spyder was serious. The stock fans work great but they are huge and consume alot of juice. 30 amp fuse on rad fan 20 amp fuse on ac. I run 15 amp fuses and flow 3000+ cfm's. Also when using aftermarket radiators its really hard to flush mount the stock fans and hard to mount them period, you have to fabricate def not bolt on. Slim fans are universal and easy to install on any radiator, and give you room for big turbos, ect.... My 2 cents

I've also had a ton of experienced locals tell me that the stock fans out flow any slim fan they have ever tried. My buddy switched out both of his slim fans for the stockers and never looked back.

I kept one of my stock fans and wired a puller fan. The A/C fan melted itself, so I figured it wouldn't be worth it to try and put another fan in front of my tubular o2 housing and 3" down pipe.
