I chose to pull the motor because basically all that would of been left in the engine bay would of been the block. I figured it would be easier because I had to pull tranny and all for new flywheel and clutch. Wasn't too bad.

Today got a lot done. I am almost done. Just have to get new battery terminals, wire in gauges, put in the exhaust, do fluid flush and tranny flush, and coolant flush. Should be running real soon!

Punishment Intercooler Installed. Wasn't too bad to do.

Here I installed a T so I can have original oil pressure gauge for the gauge cluster and my AEM Oil Pressure Gauge.

Installed my Hallman Pro MBC!

Little Update. Got the Exhaust, and Aeromotie AFPR on and started to add fluids for the flush. Well started with the coolant. Well poored in water and it leaked. Bummer! So took off the thermostat housing and cleaned it all up and put it back on and leaked again! So took it off again and come to realize that the housing in broken! The whole side just fell off. Well when I started this and took that off I noticed there was a ton of black gasket filler there. I guess previous owner was trying to make sure it held together. So got to order a new one. AH well. Should of got a picture of the crack but I didn't. I added some "The Right Stuff" and stuck it back together. I will use it just to hear the motor run but will switch it when new one gets here.

here is a picture of my Aeromotive AFPR install. I could not find a place and then I seen the bracket for the Brake Fluid and just added it there. Pretty solid. I think it's a good place.

Did you replace the clutch master and slave cylinder? Does the clutch harden when pumping it a few times? Try bleeding it again and if that doesn't work, you may need to replace the master and/or slave cylinder.

I bled it again and it didn't seem to change anything. So I replaced the slave cylinder, feels much better. Not as hard as my old clutch but it is comfortable.

Did some work today. Got the Aerocatch Hood Pins installed. Got my new front bumper cut to fit my Punishment Racing FMIC, and painted my crash bar black.

Cool, I'm glad you figured out the clutch.

I really like those hood pins. I just bought a CF hood with sparco pins but I don't like the look. Could you take a picture of where you mounted the pins in the engine bay?

Drove it around today had some boost leaks fixed most still have 1 at throttle body that I need seals for. Other then that no leaks that I can tell. Got my new bumper sanded and primed I should be able to paint it tomorrow.
My throttle cable seems to be sticking and I don't know why. It will sometimes stay at a certain rpm and if I go into neutral it will go higher. I have to give it a kick to get it to come back down.
Need to start tuning my car now. All I have done so far to it is set my injector size and dead time.
Is there a thread that shows what needs to be done to tune it? I know about the videos on ecmtuning but that doesn't cover all of it like using my wideband and I am on 90 octane fuel. That's what we got in Alaska LOL.
Want to make sure I am safe to be boosting. I will post pictures when I get my bumper painted.

Might not be much help but there are 2 videos that are on youtube that show how to make sure everything is right before idle tuning! Then theres another video that shows idle tuning! He describes things very well! Search jafromobile and see his tuning series vids!

Glad to see the build coming along :thumb:! Really interested to see what you can do with 90octane.

I would rethink your oil pressure sensor mounting, that fitting will most likely break due to the engines vibration.

I also agree with that, I had to look through the pictures to see what he was talking about. But it might be best to do a relocation for it or figure something out slightly different. That would be a horrible thing to have snap off on you!

I installed it according to this http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-engine-fuel/359004-using-t-install-oil-pressure-gauge.html

I looked that thread over. I did order that tubing but I thought it was for a different oil presure gauge. I can mount it and use the tubing to put my sensor in a different place.

On the throttle body sticking I have tested the cables and they are nice and smooth. The seals on the shaft were both basically falling apart. So I ordered some new ones and I hope that they fix my sticking issue. I also cleaned the entire throttle body, it was really dirty. I am betting I do not have anymore sticking issues after I install my new seals.
Before I took my TB apart I watched them youtube videos and I was able to get my TPS from .55v to .63v also came to realize my base timing is not spot on. I see it should be at 5 degrees but dsmlink says im at 6-8 degrees. So I will get my timing light out and see if I can't get it set to 5 degrees. But I will not be able to until I get my seals in.

I've had mine mounted like that for years with no issues. Even with lots of wheel hopping at the drag strip, a snapped axle, autox, rough El Paso roads, and even sliding around a road course. I'd say I've tested it well and it has proven itself.

Is there a chance it could break? Sure. Anything can. But I would, and still do, trust mine mounted like that.

Got the FP Exhaust manifold installed. Broke 2 of the brand new OEM turbo bolts. That was fun drilling and re threading the holes LOL.

Took bumper back off so I can trim it more.

Yep that's my Evo 3 16g, attached to my brand new PR o2 housing with an external 38mm Tial wastegate :)
I'll keep an eye out for when you post up some pics!

Indeed. And thanks for the flywheel primer, that thing got here fast from alaska. It's the largest and heaviest paperweight anyone has ever sent me. :) I will get it machined one of these days, when im not to busy wasting my time on less important things like crawling these forums. Sometimes I feel like dsmtuners KEEPS me from working on my car, ironic.

Very nice. Looks pretty clean too.

:D I hope that it works well for you! I try and ship items out as quick as possible.:thumb:

Yah she's not too bad. I wish I had the time to do a complete wire tuck and polish of all parts but meh. Maybe if I ever blow my motor ill have an excuse to rip it all down again and make it nice and purtay ROFL
