Hello,

The car is a 92' Galant with a 4g63 DOHC. It had a hard cold start so I went ahead and ordered an NTK Coolant Temperature Sensor (as was suggested to me in a previous thread) from RockAuto thinking that was the problem, today I replaced the previous sensor with the new one hoping that the car would start right up but it didn't, I think it even took more tries to actually turn it on, when I finally got it running, it would randomly try to stall a bit and then return to normal, given those symptoms I suspect that the actual problem is not the Coolant Temperature Sensor but the fuel pump, does this seem like a rational diagnosis?

Assuming that it is in fact the fuel pump, can anyone point me to an reliable (and if possible cheap) fuel pump make & model that I can just purchase once on and not think about for a few years? I live in Venezuela and most if not all fuel pumps that you find here are cheap knock-offs and they don't last very long, for reference, the current pump was installed on December 29th so it lasted about 5 months.

Thanks in advance for any help!
