Hello all,

So I'm a newbie to the dsm world, but have been tuning and working on cars for awhile so I'm not completely dumb:banghead: Anyway always loved driving these cars and always wanted to build one too. So here is my dsm story....

My best friend bought a 1990 eagle talon tsi awd a couples months back with ALOT of mods already done to it. Fuel rail, fuel pump, maybe injectors not sure yet, after market exhaust manifold, way bigger percision turbo, intake, 3" catless turbo back exhaust, after market radiator, front mount intercooler, hks external waste gate, turbo timer, boost gauge,air/fuel ratio gauge and I think it has a DLink also. he paid $4,500 for it seemed like a really good deal at the time. couple weeks later the clutch went out and we started looking under the car...missing bolts here and there oil pan gasket trashed and missing bolts exhaust leaks etc...lots of little things that needed some attention. So now I have the car in my possession and I'm trying to figure out what the build is on it, so I'll be posting parts and what not to see what this person was trying to do with the car and if it really was a good setup or not. looking at the car I'm not so sure.

So first thing first I need to replace the clutch to get it going. My question is what is the best 300+ HP for the money. I just want a street clutch that isn't to difficult to drive on the street but will hold up to some boost on a AWD.

Just posted this on another thread.....

"I also got a South Bend clutch (the SS/TZ model) from Zimmer. That was probably a year and a half ago and about 12,000 miles. The clutch is still awesome on a mildly modded car (small 16g @ 15psi + supporting mods).
The only thing I didn't use was the aftermarket TOB that came with the kit. I got an OEM one instead.

The clutch was well worth the money and I'll buy another SB when the time comes."
