2G Mystery Part

Hey folks, I'm back again with another mystery part. y'all have been very helpful with getting my GST back to being road worthy and I can't thank you enough as a community.

so here's the story if anyone hasn't seen my posts before. Bought a 98 eclipse from my brother for $200. He's had it garaged for 2 years while he was overseas. Runs great for a month. Then my radiator blew up, an ignition coil disintegrated in my hand while changing wires, fuel rail cracked, and the head gasket blew in a span of about 2 months. Finally got all that fixed and now I'm having rough idle around 100-200rpm at best, and misfiring all over the place. throwing code P0100 for Random Multiple Misfire. Also getting carbon fouling on all the plugs. Now my brother is saying it could be the part circled below. Looking in my own car I don't see this little black box at all so I don't know exactly what it is, the part number, or what it does.

any help regarding this part and its function, or even if its actually related to my issue is greatly appreciated.

The pictured part is the ICM, (Ignition Control Module)

Here's the best picture I have of the same area on my engine. I'm out of town so I can't take a great photo until tomorrow. I'm seeing that Plug next to the ignition coils, but I'm not if that's the part in question.

That definitely sounds like a part that would be screwing up my ignition and idle. Thanks Cano86!

That is the same part. Ignition module.

No problem! And yes that part can cause those issues and likes to go bad as well.
