I know i can look through the information but i got to head off to work in 20 minutes.. so i was looking for a answer for when i return.

Im using topline pistons .02 /1g rods and my crank is at the machine shop along with my head and block. (getting tanked, resurfaced, valve job, bored .02 over)

Now, What main/rod bearings should i get?
and what size would i need?

People all have their opionions. I'm going with OEM, others use Clevite, ACL, King and Topline. You'll need to check the measurements before you order the bearings so you have the proper clearance.

You're going to get flack for the topline pistons, just a warning right off the bat. Most people will agree that using tri-metal bearings are best, which puts the ACL race series bearings somewhere near the top. Clevite's are apparently no longer tri-metal but some still swear by them. OEM's are always good, but for the cost I think other's are nearly equal to at a fraction of the cost.

Is the crank getting machined or just polished?? The oversize bearings you see are for cranks that have been cut or machined. If your crank is ok and just getting polished then the standard bearing size is what you need.
Ask the shop what they are doing with the crank and they will tell you what bearings to by it will eather be standard or .010 oversize.
