Rod bearings/main bearings recommendation?

Back from the dead.

The motor is a 2.3 and the turbo is an HX35. I was looking at th ACL Aluglide bearings... and the harsher race bearings really needed?

This car will be driven frequently, and tracked fairly often as well? What do you think?

Calico Race Bearings. They Dry film coat the bearings which help with the wear process. They use ACL race bearings. Prepare to spend twice as much but you get a better bearing

Will OEM bearings be good for high hp numbers?

Being that someone in the dyno section just put down 656whp on a stock 6-bolt bottom end, i would say yes.

I don't mind spending extra.. this car is going to see a lot of miles, so I want longevity, more than anything else.

Cool. They were real nice on the phone and helpful. Our bearings work in the g4cs as well or 4g64, depending on which crank you have.

I'm using the Aluglide bearings in my car with a 2.3l. I PM'd Tim Zimmer about It and told him i was shooting for around 500HP max and he said I'd be fine. This car will see quite a bit of track time, and tons of street time.
