I already torqued my rod and main bearings into their respective places at factory torque. I'm curious, can I unbolt everything and then retorque each bearing exactly where it came from?
Ooorr, do I need to get new bearings?

I don't think there is any reason at all you couldn't do that. I myself and about everybody else that I know built engines, and some of us did that to double check everything. I did 3 times.

Just make sure to clean them again, and also put on fresh assembly lube. * not on the backs though*.

Are you saying you put the bearings in the wrong spot, then torqued them, and now need to fix it?

I don't think you can put the bearings in the wrong way and not notice. Because of the tabs on them. But you can put the con rod caps on backwards.

Of course you can remove and reinstall them...this is how you check tolerances with Plastigage.

Haha, holy shit, I didn't even think about this...
Shweet thanks guys.

To answer your question, I put the bearings in fine but i'm taking some extra precautions now that I wasn't going to ealier.:thumb:
