Without emissions equipment, youre not going to pass inspections anyways.

The removal of the equipment is causing the CEL.
 
Dsm link lets you get rid of cel's, but they will just come back on.. If your only going to by dsmlink for the cel inspection or whatever it is. Why waste all that money when you can just reset the ecu, by pulling off the negative battery cable?

Not saying dsm link is a waste of money. If you are going to get it eventually, I say go for it.
 
I dont know about PA but in NY they know if you clear the cel(disconnect battery ect) and you will fail, has happend to me.
