Ive been chasing a bug on a friends 95 tsi awd with a 6 bolt swap. I didnt do the swap or wiring to begin with, just trying to find out what the issues are. I have found a few but it still has 1 big issue. It will crank and run, but it takes forever to get started. Once it is started, it tries to die when you rev it. You have to lightly pat the gas to get it over 3krpms then it will rev very lazy. To date, this is what Ive done:

Fuel pressure was at 7psi. I swapped in a wally 190 and fuel pressure is around 41psi.

Swapped out 550 injectors for stock.

Swapped injector pins at ecu.

Double and triple checked all swap wiring.

Swapped from stock to maft and back.

Swapped swapped power transistor.

Swapped coil.

Swapped from green top to black top cas.

Swapped plugs and wires.

Swapped firing order.

Swapped ecu.

Swapped cts.

Swapped injector resistor pack.

Compression is 160 across the board, cam timing is correct, cas is phased properly. I just cant firgure it out.

how about the intake gasket? have you tried a leak down test yet?

Dumb question, but did you verify ignition timing? Mine started real had when mine was off.

Also, who did the t-belt job? A friend of mine flipped the crank trigger plate on his. He was able to start it but it ran like SHIIIIIIIT
