$5000 sponsorship (CarSponsors.com Scam)

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Yes it is kind of a scam it was 100$ when I signed up 5 yrs ago and used my 2006 eclipse.

What it really does when you log into their website is show you aftermarket companies that are looking for specific types of cars in specific regions. (Of course no body is looki In Arkansas right?) well I sent out few applications and only got one from vertical doors out of California. I paid the "semi sponsord" price of 500$ for a set which, on their website costs about 1500$ to 2k at the time. Installed. Slapped a sticker on the car and sent a pick and that was it. Yes it is a scam, and I know after going through all the BS to put those hinges on. It really wasn't worth it.

How do people still fall for this??? It's a nearly 10 year old scam.
. Correct, it is.

Because there is a new generation of idiots owning cars, and there is always a newbie to take advantage of.

If its too good to be true, well.....it probably isn't true or legit.

Bunch of suckers.

Well everybody, after all the rude comments bout this post, whee i should tell you all to f#&k off, instead im gunna say that this is.... seriously not a scam. Yes i did pay $140 for thier ### ass enrollment, but part #1 and #2 are on the way, and i will prove it when i have to make my promotion video. only thing that sucks is that the funding queue works in weak stages. First part can be for only $10, second is 25, 50, 75, 100, and 250. The reason why they start low like that is they wanna make sure your gunna take pics or make a vid to promote thier products, and i do understand that. But for 250, of course full complete fmic kit, for the 100, aftermarket cold air intake, 75 is for pillar guage pod with gauges, 50 is for coilovers, 25 is for tuner nut lug nut set, and then the dekals. AND, $250 in free dekals or graphics....but funding queue work kinda simular. My point people is what the ####?? I dont mind paying $140 for $750 in free shit. On top of that, the other part of the $5000, $4000 is 23-75% off anythig you want. And keep in mind everyone, this shit is not just for cars, its for bikes, quads ect.....this is for real.

Well, you are either a broke high school student (judging by your worthless looking grammar skills) or you are lacking any common sense. But you do as you will, but its not called a sponsorship if you get a money queue just so you know. So don't try to steer people towards something that is just outright un-American. I FIRMLY stick behind me saying this is just a sad, and unethical way of "sponsoring" people.. GOOD LUCK..:toobad:

So good to jump right on the ball of judging others, aren't you?!?!

So in other words, you must have a rich mommy and daddy that spoiled you with everything you ever wanted. Sounds like your the one still in high school, junior!

Tell ya what, go for it and when you actually do get the parts show us the paperwork showing you got it for free and the price of the items that they give you a discount on. Chances are you'll either never report back or the discounts you will get will be on items that are way overpriced hence the discounts amount to either the same or more expensive as the original part without the "sponsorship" (again, not really one but you get the point). A true sponsorship is one where a company seeks you out for what you've already achieved because they know you're good business. They can use you to market their product. You don't get something for nothing. This means big shows and many of them not to mention no choice in product, you use theirs and that's it, specially not any competitors to the sponsor.

If you can prove us wrong more power to you, but the ratings, company evaluation and personal experience of others in this realm are enough for me not to touch it with a ten foot pole.

As for your earlier comment, it'll be interesting for you to know that most people on here don't have that much money. We all work for it and save for our cars because it's a passion. I would really avoid trying to think others are richer than you because of what they said. They're just trying to help you keep your hard earned cash so that you can spend it on your car.

Lurker, you could not have said it any better about most of us struggling to get by, I m one of those. So i definetly know whats its like to have to save your ass for not only my passion, but hobby also. Now as said, i have to make promotion videos of evereything i get, so yes i will prove it. the only way I can prove paperwork wise that I did not pay for it is to take a pic of the funding page and you'll see what i mean. "A true sponsorship is one where a company seeks you out for what you've already achieved because they know you're good business. They can use you to market their product. You don't get something for nothing. This means big shows and many of them not to mention no choice in product, you use theirs and that's it, specially not any competitors to the sponsor." what you said there again says it all...doing all this IS to get to the sponsorship that you aremeaning about. They have sent me many link to sponsors who as you quotes in your statement seek people out for what they have already done. So I say to you all, it is what it is. Im just saying its not a scam the way you are all thinking. yes they got money out of me for enrollment, but like i said $140 for $750 in free parts.....theres nothing wrong with that at all.

THIS.

Paying for a "sponsorship" is nothing more than a chain letter / pyramid scheme.

Sooooo if I am reading correctly, you only got $1000 (technically $860 after your generous payment..), and $4000 of it is your purchasing stuff for 23-75% off!?!? :banghead:

Seriously, tho. Whatever floats your boat. It kinda worked for me. Guess it is working for you.

I have a friend who's autistic. He would agree with the OP and he would probably say all the same things the OP said to try and prove a point. Just sayin'.

Well everybody, after all the rude comments about this post where i should tell you all to f#&k off, instead I'm going to say that this is seriously not a scam. The reason why they start low like that is they wanna make sure you're going to take pictures or make a video promoting their products and I do understand that. But for 250, of course full complete FMIC kit, for the 100, aftermarket cold air intake, 75 is for pillar gauge pod with gauges, 50 is for coil-overs, 25 is for tuner nut lug nut set, and then the decals. AND, $250 in free decals or graphics....but funding queue works kind of similar. My point is what the ####? I don't mind paying $140 for $750 in free shit. On top of that, the other part of the $5000, $4000 is 23-75% off anything you want. And keep in mind everyone, this shit is not just for cars; It's also for bikes, quads etc... This is a scam.

I am not entirely sure where you got your prices from? My VRSF was over $300. Gauges and a pillar pod for $75? Maybe if you used cheap eBay junk that will not last. My gauges were a little over $550. (Boost, EGT, Fuel Pressure, Wideband). Coil-overs for $50? What are they made out of, plastic? A good set of aftermarket coil-overs are going to run you a minimum of $600. These prices are a little more than what you are stating. But that's just me, not here to brag but I like buying quality parts not $50 coil-overs....:ohdamn:

Maybe I'm not on board with this entire sponsorship thing and someone can please shed some light if I am wrong.

P.S I tried editing his post so normal people can read it with the added underlines parts to help fix some things.

Someone is really bad at math, grammar, spelling AND using common sense.

I won't say who it is, though.

I want to know the BRANDS these guys are "sponsoring". 25 bucks for "tuner lugs"? Same shit you get at VatoZone and now you're stuck with a ricey sticker to "promote" your "deals".

On another note, if ANYONE says they'll sponsor a car that looks like the one in that avatar, you KNOW it's a scam; period.

Lmao lando. This brings me back to the gst-gsx wheel spacer bash from a couple weeks ago. Kids think they know it all and defend their dumb point to the end

It kills me. People who actually get real sponsorships work BEFORE getting them.

I'm trying to get a wheel sponsorship (partial), and I make sure I'm at shows/Cars&Coffee/whatever to be seen each week, lots of communication between the vendor I have to pay (not a 3rd party), etc. You can eat off my floormats, lick my wheelwells, etc when I show up at these places...I still don't have the wheels. ;)

Also, WTF comes along with saying "I paid to get sponsored by this company that will sponsor ANYONE with 150 bucks"? LOL

Idk really. I remember guys back in highschool rollin around in their $100 beater regals with $4000 worth of tires, rims, and sound systems talking about they got a 'sponsor'. But even then it seemed like a scam where they'd owe their firstborn, or else their sponsor was their crack dealer

I tried to post a video of how it all worked and i dont know how, but one person on here demanded proof that i am not paying for these things. Every product i get i have to make a "sponsor video", and i will post each one on here for proof.

This walmic guy is an idiot. A clown. A buffoon. Ban me if you must.

eBay intercooler kits are 150.00 shipped.

eBay intake is 60.00 shipped.

Gorrilla lug nuts are 30.00 at AutoZone. 25.00 is like 17% off retail, way to go on saving 5.00 bro.

50.00 coilovers? You mean lowering springs? Because that is the only thing you are getting for 50.00 and they will be eBay as well.

Prime reason those of us with a clue and some money should get out of DSMs now, before we are inundated by dopes like this.
