4G63 + TH-350 + Mustang

What size tail shaft was the TH350? Run any numbers yet? Im looking at building an FB RX7 with the 7 bolt and an 8.8 rear end with 3:73 gears out of an 88 Mustang maybe I ll see ya at an event sometime!

Hmm I checked up on this, you seem to be right. I would have sworn I saw a cast iron turbo 4cyl 2.0L Nissan engine that had an engine code starting with RB. It's possible I just assumed it was a 4cyl though being only 2.0L that is pretty small for a 6 cyl.

I got one of those bill's 6 bolt to gm tranny adaptor kit. What, if any, power lose from going to the th350 and rwd set up from the original 440hp?

Plan on going 2.4 in a mustang soon. Big block!!! Lol

Kinda considering doing this in to a 1961 plymouth valiant, what trans should I look into getting, and who can make some sort of engine-transmission adapter for a built 4g63 engine? Thank you!
 
Ok, I have a fox roller and an extra 7 bolt would like to keep my faceplated t5 and bolt it to a 4g63t if you still are on here any details would be appreciated, was gonna run my tubular aje k member and built mounts.
 
Check with Bill, I bet he has or can make an adaptor. T5's are a popular trans.
 
i have q question , becouse i am also doing RWD swap, is there any problem with mounting 4g63 compeltely vertical ? for the oil... . In DSM originaly 4g63 is litle bit tilted forward ?
 
I believe they are normally straight up. If you consider that cars drive up and down hills of 10% (~6deg) without issue. A little lean shouldn’t bother anything. Long live the Slant 6: leaning tower of power!

Question on the OP: how does the starter fit?
