I got a stock 92 5 sp. I'm lookin to rebuild the tranny, put a performance clutch in it and build the block so that later I can add a small boost turbo to it later. I'm doin everything down to the crank. I'm new to the dsm so my bad not getting a turbo to start but I got it for a grand, so. I need guidance on parts and where I could find them. I'm planning on spending a couple grand cause for the money after selling mine I would prob have to do this to a turbo afterwards anyway. Also anyone know if its poss just to pull tansaxle, transfer case and rearend and bolt it in to a fwd? Thanks for any and all help, I figure where else to go but dsmtuners ha ha.

Thanks jay. Cruisin, I guess I wasn't clear, I'm lookin for recommendations on parts. I know these engines are capable of alot I just need direction on parts, specifically crank, rods, pistons, cams, I would like to know what I need to change from stock so it can handle a small boost turbo later, or should I just build it to put as much as it can without a turbo.

This might sound stupid, but I'm new to dsm's and would like to know how to tell what gen my car is. Does it go by year? And what bolt my block is.

There is a company @ teamrip.com. They have pretty good deals on tranny parts. You go the less expensive way and get the sycro upgrade. I would deffinately recomend this. Its pretty much impossible to power shift these trannys stock. Its around 300$.You can get beefed up counter shafts for around the same price as well.
