Well here is my problem:ohdamn:
my car turns of when i come to a complete stop or when i let it idle for a while it dies the rpms are about 900 and my vacuum at 11-13 at idle then once in a while when i let it idle the rpms go up to about 1300 then thay drop fast to like 700 and its does that like 5 times one after another then it goes back to 900

I put new pistons rings and a slow boy stage 2 head with crower camsgafts stage 2 springs and retainers as well

. Back then I had stage 2 crower camshafts and did the same thing but did not turn off at idle or made the rpms go up and down like it does it sometimes right know.

My timing is dead on all the marks so i know its not that

I checked for vaccum leaks checked out im thinking it might be the IAC but dont know what else to check any ideas

Do a BLT. My idle problems like yours where cured when i fixed the leaks.

EDIT: just saw the 420A :ohdamn: Ya check for leaks, it sounds like the ECU is going lean and trying to catch its self

Ok well I put another IAC and TPS and the same thing I forgot to mention i have 450cc with sfmu and the feul pressure is at 17 and my wide ban reads 12 at idle but when it warms up its at 14-15 wtf could it be i have no leaks? and i know everything should be running good since it did when i had the stock camshafts please help guys i dont want to take off my camshafts and sell them again like last time...

shouldn't fuel pressure be higher

shouldn't fuel pressure be higher

It def should be. Im not that savvy on the 420a stuff but base FP sould be at least in the mid 30's..thats with a 1:1 AFPR though, i dont like the FMU's because theyre not 1:1, usually like 10:1 or 8:1, so base fuel pressure would have to be low to not flood the engine with a ton of fuel pressure under boost. So 17psi BFP may be right, anyone with more hands on action with these have any input on that?

crower camshafts stage 2 is the key here, if you search around you will see tons of people have this problem with the crowers2's. 90% of the time its the ecu adjusting to all the new air, problem should go away in a week or two tops. If not, vacuum or possibly timing is off.

I know my timing is dead on but u never know. If i take my car to a shop will they know if my timing is right or wrong?. also what should be the base timing?

Im going to plug up all my vacuum lines except the SFMU and the brake booster and see how it runs

After checking out your profile pics, I'd replace those Home Depot couplers, too... Even 5lbs of boost will obliterate them. Do a BLT or a Vacuum leak test, like Borgratt said, too.

so you know, your vacuum will always be lower than what stock recommends because of the cam change.

correct :coy: if no many people have this problem what do they do to fix it?

today I drove my car and i noticed that its not turning off no more when its warm. But whenever Its cold and i drive off my car turns off. also it smells like hella gas when i first turn it on and white smoke comes out but then it clears after a while of warming up my car.

also i have no check engine light other than the ones i had before EGR and My EVAP since I took both of does off my car Im going to have does no matter what. please HELp

A Peenis as diapers??

Um, ok, good luck with that.

If you are still having problems and haven't done a BLT yet, I scold you :nono: 95% of problems on boosted vehicles is because of boost leaks (alright, I made that up ;) ). If you are smelling fuel during postive pressure there is a 99% chance of there being a boost leak (Ok, I made that percentage up too. But it would be pretty high).
