Good evening or morning every one I'm trying to get some info on what I'm gonna need to get my ride back up on the road. I'm doing a 4g64 swap on my 95 Eclipse GS 420a. I wanted to find out any tips tricks an every thing I'll need for this. I've already got a friend that got a built motor rear for me so I just need every thing else. An thank you all for any help ^^

I don't think there is a complete list handy simply because this is a massive undertaking. If you look at the other threads here on this topic you'll see that you're pretty much building a new car from the firewall forward.

New engine, new transmission, new ECU, new wiring, new axles, new mounts, modified or new frame rails, etc.

i understand but at this point its either that trying to find a place or some one to make a new Harness for my car or just flat out trying to save up enough money and get another one depending on in my location if there are any for sale that are not asking outrageous prices. but thank you none the less ^^

Bottom line is simple. If money is an issue here you don't want to go down the 4G swap road. It will be cheaper to fix/replace your 420A and what ever else is wrong. But first you need to make sure your shell is worth investing in.

Lots of tears expended by the many people before you that wanted to do something else with their 2GNT and much is documented on this site.

i'm gonna do what i have an need to do so if anyone knows where i cam either get a raplacemet harness cool,or a afterment one i can use or just some one in the fayetteville area that can repair them . an thank you both for your words am time ^^.

You would be better with the newer 2.4 from a Hyundai, it mounts on the passenger side like the 420a engine that you are replacing, if you have the older 2.4 you will need to cut and swap your current motor mounts side to side, so you still would need a harness, fuse box, transmission with appropriate axle's, ecu of some type, new hoses all around, ignition module for the 2.4 or 2.0 Mitsubishi engine, ignition coils either stock Dsm or a coil on plug setup, Dsm radiator or aftermarket, coolant outlet housing, cam/crank position sensors if the engine doesn't have them, coolant temp sensor if the housing doesn't have one, turbo fuel pressure regulator or entire stock turbo model fuel rail, obviously intake and exhaust manifolds and a turbo, thats the major list.

thank you very much for the info motomattx ^^

Fayetteville... from which state? There are a total of 7 states with such a named location. If it's Fayetteville Alabama, I'd be glad to look at and likely repair your harness. The 2g 420A harness is quite simple comparative to other models, and most cars in general. I've never seen one so bad to the point of needing replacement, unless an engine fire has occurred.
