Resolved 2G Which intake manifold is this and where should I mount the PTU?

This is the only decent picture I have of my intake manifold. I don’t see a bracket for the PTU or a spot to even mount one.

Can I extend the wires and mount it on the firewall?

Thats just a shaved 1g intake manifold.

Did somebody do a 6 bolt swap?
On the 1G manifold the Power Transistor and Coils mount like this.

Yes you can mount the PTU wherever you want

The car is 6 bolt swapped. Not seeing the typical stampings on the manifold did confuse me quite a bit.

Thanks for the diagram. I don’t think I have the appropriate bracket for it. If I can’t get one I’ll see if I can mount it elsewhere if it absolutely needs to be mounted on metal. It’s just chillin near the fuel rail at the moment.

The PTU can use as much heat sink as you can give it.
