Resolved 2g VSS in a 1g

Hey so I wired in a 2g vss into my 1g. Installed all the what I think is correct parts. Wires that came on plug were black-red-white.

I did black to ground, red to ign power and white to pin 18 on ecu. I can’t seem to get it to register in link.

I don’t have dash wiring or a factory cluster. Want to use launch

I’ll check tomorrow, if I get it wired correctly will it show speed on ecmlink? I don’t need to change any settings right?
