Alright so what I've determined is that coils 1 & 4 are somehow connected to the VSS plug, with that being said I'm trying to run a completely different ignition system that runs without a PTU and has "individual" PTUs (my ignition coil setup) built in them. Well with that first sentence here's my problem:

The input for coil two takes the place of 1 & 4 and moves coils 3 & 4 to different pin locations (as stated in the coil setup). My thing is how should I wire the VSS if it's signal initially came from the PTU Pin 8 location? Basically pin 8 will be removed as I won't be using the PTU and the signal will be directly shot into the the coil... thanks guys hope this is clear I'm not exactly sure how I want to word it.

Never mind... solved my own problem.

1 and 4 are tied together at a connector that seems to not actually "serve" a purpose. oops, mixed it up with the VSS which has the same wire colour but doesn't have the output wire colour (red/blue to 1 & 4 coil). I feel stupid now... :banghead:
