2g projector?

Is there a thread already for the "desired" or "best" aftermarket projector housing? I dont mind polishing my housings, but i thought if they were cost effective enough id swap over to projectors.

The best housings that you can get in terms of performance are OEM ones. Second best are OE replacements. There does not exist a different style of headlight, projector or otherwise, that seems to understand that its purpose is to illuminate the road. And that's because their goal isn't to improve light output over stock. Their goal is to look...also not great. I had a set of aftermarket projectors that came on my 2g back in 2018. They looked pretty stupid, three of the six LEDs didn't work, and I thought for the longest time that both bulbs were burnt out until I got out of the car to look at them.

So your only budget options are to restore your existing headlights which is NEARLY free or pick up some OE-replacement housings from RockAuto for $100. Doubly so if you expect to be able to drive at night. Projector retrofits start around $250 for off-brand stuff and they still require you to either restore or replace your existing housings anyway.
