Ok i know there is a right way to do this but right now im on a budget and the forged arias pistons are $800 and 6 weeks to custom make that i was going to match from what i pulled from the engine. I found 86mm 2g pistons and want to know if they will bolt on the 6bolt ibeam manley rods i have. And also, if they will work are there any modification i need to do to the block as far as clearances etc? Im trying to throw on pistons and put back together

Stock style pistons aren't machined for floating pins. Not to mention that 1g and 2g use different diameter pins.

You could probably sell the i beams if they are new, and for a couple hundred more dollars run an h-beam/forged piston combo.

It says there full floating, and fits aftermarket rods. I want to keep the rods but trying to get new cheap pistons that i can slap on so i can get the car at least running. The cheapest route unfortunately

86mm...i took out 10:5:1 forged arias pistons 86mm. They were custom made. Expensive and a lot of time for them to remake. So im trying to throw pistons on the ibeam manley rods and put the engine back together .

Here is what pistons i had in there

What options do i really have for a block bored .040?

That fits 86mm pistons that i can throw in at the cheapest price for now just to get the car running on the road. Not race track status.

I just want it running to get from point a to point b

Thats what i thought as well. But the bores look great and compression was 135 across the board besides cyl 2 which was 60psi due to the whole in it. Theres no scoring on any of the walls

I just want a clear answer on if i bore the rods 22mm can i order the full floating 2g pistons and throw it back together.

What was the ptw clearance with the pistons you have pulled out cause most likely you will have a big piston slap with the npr pistons (low expansion). As for the rods it can be done .
Honestly im not sure. I can probably mic the bore and piston diameter and subtract the numbers to get ptw?
