has anybody installed 2g pistons on 1g eagle rods?
i've previously machined 1g big rods with great success but this seemed better if possible
please let me know
 
If you machine them they should work fine. If you are going to go with an aftermarket rod though why not go with a good set of pistons while it's apart.
