Resolved 2G Manual short block fit into automatic transmission?

Hey guys so I’m buying this 7Bolt shortBlock that has been obviously rebuilt and came off of the exact year and model of my 2g eclipse but the thing is… it came off a manual so will that block fit in my automatic transmission (IK AUTOMATIC..)
Will a Manual 99 Gst Eclipse 7Bolt ShortBlock fit in my Automatic 99 Gst Eclipse!? Ive tried searching it up and couldn’t find an answer so my bad if it’s a dumbass question

Yes it will. The block itself is the same between manual and auto. But the crank in the manual short block will require a pilot bushing. You can remove it from your old engine that was with the auto trans and reuse it. But usually it's a PITA to remove since it's press fitted, so maybe you should prepare another one. Like the one in the link below. (OEM is discontinued)
