2G 1g 7bolt on 2g block

Hello guys. First of all im asking this because its the cheapest way for me to get my car running.
I have a 99 7bolt i spun a rod bearing and my crank is junk. I found a 7bolt that came out of a 1g. Will this crank fit my block?

From what I've read, the cranks are interchangeable. Brian agrees

The crank and rods are the same and there is no reason why you can't use the 2G pistons in the 1G block......

Also, on STM's site when you select the crank for DSMs it gives the option of 6 or 7 bolt..... no year options. Have a look: http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/parts/oem_mitsubishi_crankshaft.htm
