1997 Eclipse GST, I have a transmission that's been sitting what are all the seals/gaskets on it and should I replace before installing? Couldn't find anything on it, is it just the input and output seal? Sorry if this has been posted before. I think its the F5M33 on the GSTs

The FWD Axle seals have gone obsolete in the USA. MD742053 is not available overseas either. I have ran out of my stock of the OEM ones, and am stocking the identical WS710259 axle seals now. They fit and function exactly the same as the OEM 27-spline axle seal.
Is the transmission disassembled? Since you are working on a 2g FWD turbo trans, it will have brown axle seals, those visually identify it as a 27 spline axle trans. For note, earlier 1g FWD transmissions use black axle seals to identify it as 25 spline axles, and that would use the MD707184 axle seal.

The only seals that can be installed with the transmission assembled are the axle seals, MD742053. These went obsolete from Mitsubishi, but you can order them here, and they are confirmed to fit properly. -- https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=15253777&cc=1316583&pt=8792&jsn=9

If the transmission is disassembled, the input shaft seal can be done. MD741818, OEM is still available, aftermarket is here - https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=15256141&cc=1316583&pt=10065&jsn=10899 . The OEM one is reinforced, the aftermarket one is not. The seal installer I use is MD998321, here is a one from a trusted seller I regularly use - https://www.ebay.com/itm/1265776886...uid=jThZ7hOHROW&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

If you are attempting to do this assembled, you must not hammer the axle seal flush with the transmission case, the dust lip sits exposed. If you want the correct seal installer to do this, it is MB991115. You can find one typically on Ebay, and then use a driver handle and a hammer. Thank you so much! Looks like I'll have to look into disassembling it to replace that input shaft seal, transmission been sitting for 4-5 years, don't wanna have issues later on. No output shaft seal right, I'm assuming thats for AWD trans.

Here are written instructions on how to disassemble the F5M33 transmission -

If you need a FSM, page 34-99 covers it. Be sure to reference F5M33 header noted pages.

I have a pdf of it, gave it a quick glance earlier but couldn't find anything on seals so I came here to ask. Thanks for the references, I'll give it a look again!

Your in good hands with twicks69 as he is the transmission guy in the DSM world but if I can give my two cents since I just rebuilt mine, the shift selector seal is a PAIIIIIN! There is a very good chance that it'll be stuck. I was told the easiest way is to use a chain breaker tool, plenty of pb blaster and melted crayons, and heat. Mine still never came out and I ended up having to by drill bits meant for drilling through hardened steel and drill the pins out.
If you choose to replace it, there are guides on here. Just remember that they are tapered which means they only come out one direction.

Same. The counterweight pin cam out with the chain breaker, but I had to drill the pin out on the linkage pin.
