Hi guys!
I started my 16g conversion, that I have long prepared for. I took the T25 and all the stock FMIC stuff out, and put up the 16g to see how the Intercooler routing will look, and I found out there is something wrong with my J-pipe. So I have 2 J-pipes:
One has a bigger bend (I would prefer this) and the other is smaller. I believe both of these are pretty standard, I see these in many builds.
My issue is that they just wont fit. The smaller one hits the Intake pipe ( I have a Dejon intake), and the big one just never gonna fit. I cannot even test fit it there: It hits the intake and the radiator fan too, by a lot. (I have mishimoto, with stock fans)
So I'm thinking about modifying the bigger bend into making it come down between the two fans in some way like this:
Has anyone experienced the same issues? I just don't see how anyone fitted these to their cars, I remember there was a bit more space with the OEM intake and radiator, but not that much. I cannot even try these on. Do you think going down between the two fans would be a good way? I cannot think of anywhere else. Can you guys send my some photos of how do you have your J-pipes fitted? I want to know for sure before I start cutting and welding.
Thanks for the help! Ans sorry for the crappy pictures, I couldn't find any help to hold the pieces for me, It was not easy taking a good pic.

It's a nice feature because the OEM fans are a beast.
