Just wanted to get some thoughts on 272 cams either hks or brian cower how much low end tourqe do you loose and hi rpm horse power does it crawl off the line and does it make a significant difference in the hp increase i could i really use some help im getting my car ready this summer and am looking to get this dun soon, so any help would be very much appreciated.

LOL no video's untill I get it fixed :( Ive seem to have spent most of my money on those Volk's and an impulse buy on a TIG welder LOL

ive heard delta 272 cams are about the same as hks cams but half the price of them

Well Im going to be selling my BC272's soon to switch to the Kelfords 272s.
The Brian Crowers are cheap and affordable for the average racer, but you really need to deg these cams to get the ideal results out of them. Maybe some people get lucky and get full power just by dropping them in, but for me from coming from stock cams there was definitly a lose in torque down low, like say under 5k. It was very noticeable, and up top didnt feel much faster till I started cranking the boost up and retuning and then it was night and day... I do like the lopey idle of the B/C's though, they sound great, but while the motors apart I figured nows the time to improve the cams if I were to do it...

sryi havent been on here for a while guys been away from the comp, i have to usemy money now to get an upper intake gasket and plenum gasket (hope i can find a kit) and have them installed

well right now i have a big 16g but i need to get me sum arp head studs and the head gasket im runnin 20psi boost but im going to the track this summer and want to get sum hardcore power out and a buddy of mine said the cams will add 20 hp hi end. and do you need to adjust the cam sensor when you put them in or is it slap them in and go.

Instead of getting cams at this point, just turn the boost up some more. Going from 20 to 24-25psi will probably make almost as much difference as getting cams and staying at 20psi. Max out what you have and then get different parts. Going higher than 20 even on a 16G, does make quite a bit of difference in HP.
