I have fully searched dsmtuners for all possibility 264/272 topics.
But I have a diffrent kind of turbo compared to you guys , so I am really confused which would be a better deal.

I run a t4/td05h setup at 20psi
T04 Compressor Housing
53~mm inducer compressor fin ( which i guess is a 50trim)
TD05H EVO III Turbine Wheel + Turbine Housing
1G Engine (vr4)

Which cam setup would be suitable for me.
I run on RON97 Pump Gas in my country.
I run this engine on a Lancer FWD. I wouldnt want to sacrifice too much of low end.
If I do have a 272 Exhaust cam but still do run a TD05H turbine wheel and turbine housing , is it a restriction ?

thank you

Check out the Forced Performance 1xs. Thats what i have in my car with an evo 3 16g and they pull like hell in the mid range up to bout 7k with the max hp at 6200ish. I hear that 272s might give you up to 10 more horsepower in the top end but you will have less horsepower at 4500 rpm then with the 1xs. Take a look at my set up and the dyno sheet and see if that is what you are looking for. Valve spring up grades are required for these cams though just to let you know. You should go to forced perforamce's web site and they will tell you alot more then i can. good luck

I just ordered the 264/272's last night, i'll post up when they are installed with the difference they show on the dyno. But i have been asking similar questions yesterday after making my order and 2nd guessing myself. I'm going to write a small review if it's needed, as i'v eridden in many cars with 272/272 and 280/280 but never teh 264/272 seup.

turboglenn : would love to see your review :D , since AMS did their reviews on the 16g turbo , it would be great if u did a nice review with ## 57trim

layzie12g: unfortunately , FP costs a bomb for me , shipping alone costs ms $140-190 , HKS's are cheaper over here

Not meaning to hi-jack but would the 264/272 combo be good on a 14b? I have stock auto cams and was thinking of upgrading to n/t int./ m/t turbo exhaust.

The 14b doesnt flow like an evo 3 does even though they are both in the td05 housing. Unless you plan on upgrading to a bigger turbo in the near future such as a 50 trim or something like that i would go with the 264s. Even with the 272s and an evo 3 i hear you loose alot of mid range power compared to the 264s. If you live in America you might want to take a look at Forced Performances website. They have fp1 which are like the 264s. Fp1xs that have the lift of a 272 cam but the duration of the 264.(The lift and duration might be in reverse order but im pretty sure im right) Then fp2s which are like 272s. Fp2xs are even bigger and then 3s and 3xs for stroker cars. Good luck
