ok this may sound stupid to some people but im just curious about this. i was replacing my vavle cover seal the other day and i noticed that on my cams it said 272 now is this a stock application or did somebody replace the cams with either crower or hks 272 cams before i bought the car like i said it may be a stupid question but i dont know the answer so any input would be sweet thanks!

272 on stock applications from the factory would have been awesome :)

Yeah they are aftermarket, nice lopping deep bass sound, you can't miss it.

comp 100-200 cams I had a nice blown out intake gasket at the time I took the video. It still sounds kinda like this though just not like its going to die.

no they actually do say 272 on them. Its a 98 tsi with stock motor! its got a slight lope to it at idle. maybe thats why i have no bottom end but it picks up really good in high rpms who knows! i would take pics but i just put the a new valve cover gasket in and i dont wanna take the valve cover off and have to replace the gasket again!!
