I thought I did answer your question - No, people do not have problems with the CAS harness - and it is not supposed to be loose.

Perhaps you can elaborate on your situation? I'd be happy to help.

Original after I did the 1g swap for notice oil spraying out the back of the motor after driving it. So I fix that I started the car drove it up the block and back and then it stop spraying . I cut the car off and went to restart it then it never started again. Cam gears spins and the radiator fans comes on for a second but that’s all she do is spin but won’t start

Thank you for the details. I have some more questions.
Where was the oil leak coming from? How did you fix it?

I assume the timing belt and mechanical timing, and compression are still good - because it was running once, and the last thing that happened was you turned off the car, and now it does not start.

I'm confused as to what crank and cam signals are in use on your setup. At one point in this thread you say you have a crank sensor, and then you report you are using a Black top CAS.

Can you provide more details as to what crank sensor you are using and how it is connected to the engine harness?

It’s a black top cas with the 1g cas wire harness

I used a bolt to stop it

The harness and sensor are probably your source of the issue.

I detailed the construction of a harness here, 20 years ago.

Is the harness wiring like this?

With that exact style of adapter harness you captured in the screenshot from STM, you are using the 1G CAS to provide both cam and crank signals. This is contradictory to what you have stated throughout the thread. Understand that we know nothing of your situation outside of what you tell us and if you aren’t telling us correctly, we aren’t going to be able to offer proper help.

Anyway, where was this oil leak you fixed and did you have to do any disassembly in order to make the repair?

Double check your connections of the CAS adapter harness to the engine harness. Make sure you haven’t connected the CAS adapter harness to the A/C or coil pack connectors, which also have 3-pin, triangular-shaped connectors.
