I am wiring a 1G harness and ECU into my Volvo 740 running a Ford turbo 2.3 and it appears pin 108-110 are switched power?

Also pin 104 is neutral safety/ground manual trans, so does this need grounded out as I am running a manual trans and I'm not worried about a clutch safety?

If you are looking for a switched 12v power source, #107 is the one. #110 is Ignition switch, #109 is tach signal input, #108 is Start switch (Cranking). And yes #104 should be grounded.

In case it's not clear, pin 110 is not a power input but tells the ECU that the ignition switch is in the run position. Pin 108 is also not a power input but a sense that the ignition switch is in the start position and cranking the engine.

In a normal 1G DSM applying +12v to Pin 110 causes the ECU to switch pin 63 to ground to activate the MPI relay which then applies power to ECU pins 102 and 107 finishing the ECU bootstrap process.

ECU pin 103 is unswitched +12v power used to backup the RAM and power the circuit controlling the bootstrap.

ECU pins 101 and 106 are the grounds and 104 is a sense pin used on automatics or grounded on MT cars. The ATX ECU software looks at the bit reflecting the pin 104 status to know if the ATX is in park/neutral.
