1g cas in 2g question

So I'm converting my 95 eclipse to a 1g cas,and my question is I'm not using my 95 ecu since it isn't good so I picked up a 97 ecu off a friend,so do I have to invert my firing order like it says to do on the rre write up?or can I just create my harness without messing with the pins to the ecu?

Im running a 97 ecu in my 99 with a 1g cas. Didnt have to invert firing order. You should be fine
