1g BOV install

I was wondering what I need to do to be able to install a atmospheric BOV to my 1g laser? Isn't the Stock BOV a Recirculative BOV ? What happens to that hose?

You need a blow-through setup. With a GM MAF and a MAF-T you can vent the
1g BOV. The recirculating hose is no longer need because the air is now measured with the GM MAF, where the upper intercooler pipe is.

just make shure you put the mafs after the bov or the blow threw setup will be pointless.

Yes the stock BOV recirculates the air back into the intake pipe, via the hose. If you take off the hose and block the opening on your intake pipe, then it vents into the atmosphere. You don't need a special atmospheric BOV. The problem with doing this is that the stock MAS is compensating for the recirculated air and with out it your air fuel ratio (AFR) and drivability will suffer. UNLESS you get a GM MAF with a MAF-Translator and install it after the BOV, in blow through (the way it is set up from the factory is called "draw through"). Then you can vent to the atmosphere without any problems. Hope this helps.
