OK im new here but i know a little about DSM's. I have 2 eclipses a 1996 gs n/t and a 1998 gst. Well to start off i hope the problem im having is not the o so fun crankwalk. Well first off the clutch was stuck on the floor and i had to pull it back up by hand. Than i seen the rear seal in the master cylinder was leaking through on the floor and was filled with a grease mixed with brake fluid. Never seen that before so i replaced the master cylinder and the slave. Than adjusted the pedal and blead the clutch it pumped up nice . At the same time i had a bad oil leak so i resealed the oil pan. The car has had the engine replaced it is a 1998 gsx 7 bolt engine according to the vin on the block. Well the oil pan was leaking bad and was dented so i looked for a new one but could not find a 7 bolt pan no place. So i beat it back out and put it back on. When i started it up it did fine and i drove it for a day and than i seen oil dripping out all over. Well i resealed it again and found out the oil pan is not leaking its coming from the crankseal. Well my oil pressure got kinda low but never dropped to bad. So i cleaned up all the oil and started it up and let it run for about 30 mins. There were no leaks from the crank so i couldnt figure out were it was coming from. Then i reved it up till the turbo kicked in and it blew oil all over the place. So i was like SH**! So i figured its a bad crank seal that can't handle the boost. The nexted day the clutch was really soft and spongy and didnt feel good at all. Anyone got any ideas ? The guy i got it from said it had less than 10,000 miles on the motor. Do you think it could just be a bad seal or is it something else? Maybe its got crankwalk and if so whats the best way to fix? Besides a 6 bolt swap i dont wanna run more than 500 hp or 15 to 25 boost on it just wanna make it nice and run good.
