NHerron, love the smilie summation I just feel a little sick. This thread should be locked deleted and burned.

like i said i have all the time in the world to build it im eighteen got plenty years ahead of me i hope haha its not really for racing just driving me back and fourth from work and maybe screw around and later might sell it and buy a gsx

Give up the idea of even 200hp. 140hp is crank horsepower, to the wheels most are lucky to get 125whp out of a lower mileage 420a. You can throw thousands into the motor and still never even get close to 200's. The amount of people who have even made it to 200whp in a 420a is very very slim, and costs a shit ton to even come close. Not the mention that wouldn't even be at all Daily driveable with any street manner. You're talking extremely aggressive cams that would need to rev to the moon, high enough compression you'll need E85 or meth injection just to drive it, as well as way more waste of money than to just sell the damn thing and buy a stock car with more than 200whp.

screw ill just rebuild the engine stock and just throw on basic stuff i really have no desire to go faster then 80 anymore i just want a good looking car that gets me around with decent mpg LOL but i mean thanks on correcting me on alot of stuff i learned more then i thought i would so

yah your right i just want a dd that looks good sounds good so might as well go with cosmetics maybe?

i think if someone told you to paint the car pink you would actually think about it man. this is your car and build its alright to ask for some help but in the end you drive the car and take care of it. just go with you think is good without going broke. i cant believe this thread went 3 pages haha

Don't believe those ads saying that an intake will give you 20 hp and an ebay chip will give you another 25hp. If this was to be the case I would have had a 200whp 420a long before. If you are reeally looking at cosmetic stuff don't buy a body kit; put on a HD lip and a set of decent rim on with maybe lowered springs and call it a day.

If you can actually use proper grammer we all can avoid confusion here. It stated it clearly before replying however there are alot of reading ahead of you. I am not a big fan of painting/powder coating rims; other members can chip in on this. Bodykit is totally up to you, rice or not.

im trying to use proper grammer doing alot of other things on here im not here to impress people with my grammer just asking questions and i was answering the questions of the other guy above me

not trying to be a dick about it or anything

Nobody in this world could swap a 4g63 into a 420a engine bay in 2 hours. You are very confused or you mechanic is a ####ing idiot and you need to get you car back now. I think he just took the 420a out of a gs and dropped it in, then threw a 2.4 valve cover one it to make you feel better.

I gotta agree with him on this one. None of it makes since. Im thinking you s***ed out on this one man. Not saying you did but put some pictures up and let us see what you did...

This dude's been hanging with them Honda guys too long...save your money and get a true turbo model. The sky's the limit. I am content with about 350hp at my crank for a street car. Just search DSM on youtube and research on this site so you can see the potential of the turbo models. Don't waste your time with the 420a. You might have better luck trying to fit an SRT4 motor under your hood.
