So I was trying to get the the proportioning valve for 93-94 dual piston front calipers but they are discontinued now, I figured with changing everything else and having new wouldnt be a bad idea to change out the proportioning valve as well this way eliminates anything old in the braking system. I ended up getting the oe pre 93 valve with isnt muchof a difference in front/rear bias.

Parts came back from powder coat, calipers are back from getting rebuilt and be another week before the trailing arms come back. Started working on replacing new ebrake and brake line holders/bolts, did a quick paint job on the diff cover and got everything mocked up on the subframe. Also cleaned and painted the 2 cowl plastic pieces just to freshen them up.

So finally got everything up in and tightened down for now not torqued. Waiting on brakes both front and rear, front rotors and front calipers to get powder coated and rebuilt. New axles (rock auto) in, got the ebrake cables in its clamped places and all new studs fromt and rear. New windshield comes the 21st at that point I will address my pillar pod issues. Taking more parts down to my painter this coming week.

Back on all 4’s!!! Brakes and clutch blead, nat fab v2 lca’s new brakes and rotors and new windshield as well. Going to paint next my guy has all the panels n been working on them ahead of time.

Car went to paint a few weeks ago to get body work done, paint and wrap the modlings etc…. Meanwhile grabbed an RTM hanger, 450 pump and rewire kit. Started tackling the gas tank first getting it ready while waiting on getting the float sensor repaired before putting it on the new hanger.

Fuel pump is ready to go next up is the driveshaft while its still at paint.

Yes sir Spring time she’ll roll out again, just trying to get everything else updated before I build a motor. I put about 1k on it last year with no real problems and that was the first time the car had been back on the road since I took it off in 2007

Duplicolor truck bed coating that and primer. I user it on my 1st gen cummins frame years ago and it holds up awesome.

So after many years as you can see the car is back from paint looks awesome its not a show car but she sure shines bright. Guy did it on the side ran into issues here and there….. However I have a sheet ton of parts now to put in this thing Got the fuel pump in the tank and tank in car with new 8an feed and 6an return ptfe. Had the float sent out to get the gauge fixed so now I have a gas gauge yay! Ran the fuel line to the engine bay for now as I have a bunch to do in the bay. My driveshaft i rebuilt, stock carriers, u joints and low bro kit with all new cvt grease so should be better than before. Exhaust inhad on before back in and replaced thr front sway bar bushing with new oem bushing.

how odd i thought i was the only one in this world wanting to be buried in my laser. now i find that there is two of us deranged laser owners.
car looks awesome keep plugging away the end goal is worth the wait and patience when you finally gett behind the wheel.

Laser is a lot of fun. My friend had an exact copy. Blue no spoiler awd. All I had was a boost controller, catback and a o2 housing dump pipe. This thing screamed back in the 90s and really freaked people out when the wastegate opened. My talon was more heavily modded but the laser attracted more attention.

The laser to me is the diamond in the rough, everyone sees the talons or eclipse’s but the lasers are always forgotten

I know the feeling, I have a black 92 6/4 5spd and even though I haven't touched it in 8 years it's not going anywhere. It's my 3rd and final Laser RS.

Looks great, good to see it being worked on after all this time. Always loved the Laser, that two tone looks sick, reminds me of 2Ga turbo paint scheme.
Evo 8 enkeis paint matched to the bottom color would look sick!
