What's up dsmtuners. I'm new to this forum so I hope to find everything I need on here. I'm doing a Drag/Street build on a 1991 Eagle Talon Tsi (AWD). I bought this car in Georgia last week & was determined to build it for an event at my local drag strip for IFO in November. I'm aiming for 11's in the Forced Induction Street Class. I daily a 97' Gst and also owned a 89' Skyline GTS-T, 92 Toyota Soarer GTT, 83' Porsche 944, 93 Mazda Rx-7, and 86' 300zx ( i'll include pics ).

i'm doing this build for my grandfather who was very big into NHRA. Cancer took him away in 2006 so i've always wanted to build a car and drag race for him but never got around to do it until now. I hope everyone enjoys my 2 month build & sorry for all the chit chat.

I'll also be doing the build off my Instagram so feel free to follow: AlwaysDTF

Wow. Quite the collection. I'm astonished you could part with a few of those. But anyways, welcome and the story behind your build is a good one. I look forward to your build thread.

Really awesome man! Good, story build should go great, I wish you the best! Your not to extremely far from me, ever need help with anything just let me know. Where will you be running the car?

depending on how soon the car is done, atlanta has a import showdown in the middle of october so that would be good test and tune. if not, nov 4th is import faceoff in montgomery so that's my big deadline. as of today, i i have bought $6,300 worth of stuff for this damn car & only really aiming for 11's.

i'm about to pull a allnighter & i'll have pictures up as i go.

finally just finished up deleting all the old stuff & getting everything prepped. this is by far the dirtiest car i've ever messed with which makes it even better to clean up. i'll be working on the car for the next 3 days nonstop so enjoy the pictures.

love the story, love the car. hate the fish eye lens. good pics otherwise.

thanks man. and the only reason for the fisheye lens is so you can more of a angle on the sides of what i'm taking a picture of. i personally am not a big fan of the lens either but i bought it & never used it ha.

i'm running a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo & aem series 2 box.

appreciate it. i'm prepping the car right now to pressure wash the bay finally so i'll have plenty of pictures on the way. i'll be on the livestream if anyone wants to watch or ask anything.

cleaning out the bay was a success. spent the whole day sunday scrubbing & moving stuff. now time to fine detail the hell out of it but due to horrible alabama weather, i'll have to wait til' tomorrow night. bunch of storms moving through so tonight & tomorrow are modern warfare days on the xbox (GT-nismolover69).

i'm also working on having live stream camera's on the outside & inside of the car during the race in a couple of months.

sorry i haven't posted on here lately, been to busy with getting everything together and etc. finally got done with the insane detailing of the bay & just not started getting everything situated to put back together. so far i've replaced the valve cover gasket & cam angle sensor gasket ( which was covered in RTV ).

Tonight, I put the new injectors on, wire in map sensor, iat, and wideband for AEM. the new radiator, and start throwing the harness back together.

Enjoy.
