It is a "g" style compressor with alternating height blades and TD05H meaning its a 16g variant. It has a 52 stamped on the compressor housing which I think is a small 16g.

49178-0xx00

52=small 16g
42=big 16g
47=evo3 16g

Been a while, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Where did you get this turbo from? Looks as it is a custom setup. Like he said above that is not a 16g wheel. You can also tell that the compressor cover has been hogged out to fit the much larger wheel it has in there. Looks like it could be a garrett compressor wheel as a lot of those have 7 blades. Depending on the price I would pick it up and see what it does!! Good Luck!!:thumb:

thanx for all the input guys, was told it was a 14b, pretty sure it wasn't so im gonns try to pick this up

I had a 16G in my possession once that had the cover machined out and an old 7-fin GT30R compressor wheel was wedged in there. Made for a HELL of a sleeper turbo.

Same turbo next to a plain Small 16G:

:cry: he sold it to someone else

Ahhh, that sucks balls! I was going to guess that maybe it was a "bastard 20g" but i don't know enough about the 20g wheel design off the top of my head to know for sure (# of blades etc... ) That would have made a crazy ass sleeper turbo for sure.... That's kind of the route I'm going for with my next turbo.. wanting a 20g wheel or similar with a small hot side for insta-spool :D

I love my 57 trim but looking for something a little more sneaky and quicker spooling.. Too bad you missed out on that.. Does that mean you can buy some of the beer this weekend unfortunately?

My woman's turbo is a plain t3, but the compressor housing was machined out and we stuffed a 46 trim t4 wheel in it with a bulleted shaft...nice and sneaky like :D
