man I love this! I want to see some more y2k style cars
Thank you! I feel like my stock sides look “weak” with the 2gb front. I think it’s my paint color that’s the problem. I have a 2gb rear bumper to go on with it

Sanded my hood down

If anyone needs me I’ll be out buying some fresh New Balances and knee high white socks. Bought this kit second hand though it was never installed. It may have been an RTM kit. C5 PBR calipers and 98 Cobra rotors. 70.1 to 67.1 hubcentric rings from Amazon. No name Rock Auto pads for now. Stop Tech C5 braided line 950.620000. Went to Lancer GTS 18s since 3G wheels I had wouldn’t clear the brakes. I’ve been running the 3g master cylinder so the pedal feel is pretty good.On to the next mod.

Diagnosed #2 injector is not operating. I'll spend the night cleaning my backup set of 2150s and swap them this weekend.

I wetsanded and cleaned this car as far as I could. This panel I am using as an experiment. The idea is to use this rattle can which is incredibly close to the original color, put a good coat of paint on it, then wetsand it down until I cut into the original paint and the panel will overall look better. If I can retain most of the oem paint and this picks up the slack of the bad parts I'm hoping I can correct this cars color and even allow me to bondo in a couple door dings and then all said and done hit the whole thing with the expensive clear cans.

Bonus: right behind the corner of the house pictured above I had a friend hanging out all evening about 2' away from me.

Rustoleum Gloss Apple Red perhaps? 🤔😎 I have a case for touchup or whatever. 👍
Question, where did you get the injector pulse modules?

Rear Corvette calipers by any chance

I still have stock but it’s been done before.

Attempt #2 of trying to replace the shift lever seal was unsuccessful. Neither pin moves.

I went "lurking". Not a single cool car on a sunny but cool (75*) day so I did one little pull before I headed back home 💪😎
The air being sucked in sounds like a jet. I am running full exhaust clear out the back so you can really hear it. It makes me SMILE. 😉

Replaced a split boot on the front left inner cv joint. Universal autozone part fit quite nicely. Original had a small cut, just enough to spray grease everywhere.

Next up is a helicoil job on one of the two big transmission mount bolts.

Sweet!, coolant staying low for ya! Mine would be like 212* at this rpm.

In order to clean the tank, you need to remove the tank...

My removal required a fresh utility knife blade.

That blob of JB weld with a quarter in the middle was a warning shot about the adventure I was starting.

It's a tapered pin and only moves in one direction(can't remember off the top of my head). There's a much better tool for it, a heavy duty chain break, similar to this:

Need to ask. Whats weird about koni yellow and eibach?
Weird was not the proper way of describing them in a general sense.

My specific units were old, unknown mileage, and the rubber dampers/bumpers were worn. I was never really impressed with how it rode, like it was okay, but nothing to write home about. Seemed like the community loved them, so I was a little disappointed with the real feel of them.

Brand new maybe....they're nicer?

That was attempt #1.

#2 was the mini air hammer. #3 will be heat + air hammer, maybe tomorrow. Feel like ive had adequate room to work and put a substantial amount of pressure/applied enough force. These pins just dont wanna move.
