I would love to see a 2g Eclipse with an Evo front end. I want to take out the engine and turn it into a mid engined AWD. I would maybe even trade out the 4 cylinder for something that starts off with a bit more beef. Maybe a Chevy 350 v8 that I could tune up with performance parts. Two exhaust tips would be guided out through the side of the back bumper right behind the middle of the back wheels on each side. They would be showing, but not sticking out really. Every part possible would be carbon fiber, and the car would be painted red leaving some raw carbon fiber in some places (under the doors, some slanted stripes on the hood, etc) to give the red some dark accents. The rims would be a smokey black/grey and the wheels big enough to fill up almost the entire wheel well (99gst_racer has the look that I'm going for and if you look at the pipe coming out of the side of his bumper, that's the look I want right behind the back wheels on each side). The back side windows would be scoops to help get air to the engine (look up Tanner Foust's Ford Fiesta if you don't know what I mean). And there would be so many other things that I would do that I just can't think of off the top of my head.

That's what I want. Now I want to hear what the rest of the DSM community wants.

Not really a dsm, but a 89 colt with a 63t & awd swap....... Oh wait

I said maybe replace the 4 cylinder. I'm partial to the 4G64 I have, though. I've shed plenty of blood, sweat, and tears over it. Dang Japanese playing tetris with my engine compartment.. -__-

I just looked at your car. LOL. I see what you did there.

I just saw that you're at Fort Stewart in Georgia. Have you ever been to Athens? That's where I was born and raised. On family trips back to Athens we used to stay on a base because my dad is in the army. They closed that base down, though.

I have been to almost every major city in GA... Can't wait to leave this armpit tho

I've never liked the though of using things the way they were intended to be used. A highly tuned Eclipse may be fast around a track, but make it mid engined and it's a whole different story. From my experience, it is much more fun to go around a corner at high speeds in a mid engine car that a front engine car. The rest of it is just weight reduction and aesthetic appeal. I don't want any body kits or anything like that. If I was just going with a front engine DSM, my dream car would be the one 99gst_racer built. One look at it and I was hooked. LOL

I AWD spyder with a 2.3 stroker and a 50 trim. All black interior, grey or silver paint, and dropped 2".

I'm liking all the ideas. I just really want to see a nice mid engined DSM

Dream dsm?? One that runs every damn time i start it!!!

Want to have fun in curves? Get a bike. And don't use it to go jet skiing with. ;)

My vr4 made to be a fun street car nothing over the top
Engine in the engine bay
And no carbon fiber

Your dream dsm is a t28 1000cc injector??? With a built motor and a built trans??? For your t28?? Lol you don't dream big enough. A t28 is still a t-too small.

But i guess thats what your running now...
