would a 94 auto 1g awd tranny fit 91 auto 1g awd?

i would like to ask before i buy another transmission, someone is selling a 94 auto awd tranny. i would to know if it would work with my 91 auto awd 1g?

Depending on the build date of the 91 you may need the tcase as well because early 91 is a 22 spline tcase inpit shaft later was a 23 spline which is better but overall yes if you have trans and tcase its a direct fit

As far as I'm aware, there was never a 22-spline automatic transfer case in a DSM. From that perspective, it should work, no problem.

The inhibitor switch (park / neutral position switch) harness connector will be different between the two. You'd want one to match the '91 engine harness if you don't have one already.
