Wiring question

Doing a 4g64 sohc to dohc swap to add a turbo, got most of everything noted down on what I need to do, but one thing I never bothered asking was if the wiring harness needs to be replaced? Or if the stock harness can work with some adjustments?

I suppose if you compare both engines then you could verify they all have the same electrical components and in locations at or nearly the same. You might want to provide more information about the vehicle and where the donor motor is coming from.

There are differences. One that came up in an earlier thread was that the idle speed motor on the 4G64 SOHC is a DC motor with limit switches and the DOHC uses a stepper motor for the ISC and changes things all the way back to the ECU.

I'll just be replacing the cylinder head not the whole block
