I started to install my oil pressure gauge this evening and I was met with a couple of surprises. The clutch connector was disconnected so I reconnected this for my future plans of nlts and 2step. Then I saw another connector that doesn't seem to connect anywhere (not clutch, not brake). It has a red and green wire running to it. Then I see this other blue connector hidding behind the fuse box unconnected. Then I see this brown/white wire cut. FML. Any help was to what these are and if they are supposed to be connected would be of great help. I plan on soldering that brown/white wire back tomorrow (It looks like the previous owner cut and soldered back the solid brown). I've got the wiring manuals but they aren't helping as much as I thought.

Thanks in advance.

Second pic, I really don't know what it is for, but in both of my cars (95), they have it unhooked,

First pic, there is another connector on the same place that connects to it, It's higher in that area (back of the fuse box).

Thirst pic, I don't know what is that wire for, but just solder it as you stated.

Not exactly for much of anything since they are supposed to be open. ;)

I got the brown wire soldered back together and heat-shrink over the top (heat-shrinked the pre-existing one too). I noticed those two connectors in the diagram but wasn't 100%, thank you. I loosened the fuse box enough to see behind it ...nothing available to connect the first picture connector. There is two blue connections (4 blue connectors total) located behind the fuse box, but no 5th hiding to connect to. There isn't a lot of slack in the harness for it to go very far. Looks like a diode reading 4201 is tied to the connector wires with electrical tape ...not sure if that helps any.

In the mean time I'll be pulling out all the a-pillar gauge wiring and vacuum hose and redoing it. This lazy ass must have 4 wires crimped in series from the sensor to the a/f gauge and there is no grommet on the firewall pass through.:|

Thanks again.

Hmmm ...looks like maybe a talon rear harness mixed with an eclipse front harness. In short, there is no third connector (B-73) on front harness of my car. I followed B-72 and B-71 back to the breakout. There is a B-73 connector on the rear harness. Looking at eclipse vs talon electrical manuals this makes sense. I'll just hide it.

B-73 seems to be for <with central door locking system> (rear remote hatch?)

I just have a non-remote key anyways and not alarm on this car.

I'm going to re-wire my w255 now.....
