Wire Tuck [Merged 7-9] tucks tucking wiring tucked

I bet the wire goes to the A/C COMP relay. This is the AC switch wire, ECU pin 45.

After the event of my engine going out I was determined to sell the car or to put up for a parts car and sell everything related to dsm's I had around the garage. So I let the car sit for about 3 months without even touching it. I got time to think it over and I decided to continue on with this project I had planned. recently I took pretty much everything out and start to reroute/ rewire the engine harness so I put a block and head to see how I can do this thing. Here's how its looking so far. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh I didn't relocate my fuse box, just hid the wires. I do not right now, I mean I could but the engine bay is undergoing surgery right now since I'm swapping motors.

oh right on man! I am on the hunt for another engine or block at least to get started on something as far as engine is concerned.

I took out the center console and I cut to fit the fuse box and ac box. this is before I cut the center console.

This is after I cut and placed both of them into place.

What do you guys think? I know i will have to cut and solder several wires in order to function right.

I personally think this is a great location and solution to the Fuze Box and A/C Box!

Makes me think about performing this type of modification in the future.

Looks good so far, keep up the good work!

Just think how easy it will be to replace a FUZE!

hell yea it is!! nice place to mount them though and still have easy access.

Anyone have a suggestion on where to cut an entry hole for the wiring for the engine. I want some suggestions before I make the cut! If none are made I'll go off of my best judgment.

Ok so i was searching the forums looking on how to do a wire tuck on a 1g! Well i really could not find anything. Im looking to do it to a 1gb gsx im purchasing but im not to much of an electrical guru! What all can i delete? Where is the best place to relocate the fuse box? Im also moving the battery to the trunk, eliminating power steering (if it has it), a/c, and cruise control. All in-put would be helpful thanks. :rocks:

yeah on the 1g's it's on the passengers side by the headlights and all the wiring basically in the engine compartment!!

Ya im trying to figure out a good spot to put the fuse box in a 93 gsx that im getting because i also plan on doing a wire tuck! How difficult is the soldering going to be to expand the harness.

it depends on if your keeping the air conditioner and stuff. But if you are going to do kind of what I'm doing my recommendation is label the connections that your taking off first. And then start to take them out. I regret not doing that first! Other then that it's pretty straight forward if you have some soldering skills.

The car has no engine or trans so i cant take them off and label them. :notgood: So its going to be a little bit more difficult. Im getting rid of the emissions, cruise, a/c, and anything else that i dont need.:dsm:

Oh okay if your just leaving the main components it's a little easier to do since you don't need to worry about those extra wires. Still a bit complicated to do since theres no engine. But I decided to do it when the engine and transmission was out as well. I'll post some pics to show how I'm labeling the wires and where I decided to route the wires through.

Alright that sounds good are you just soldering more wire together to lengthen the wires to reach the engine bay? Thanks for the help! So what all can i get rid off? I pretty much am only keeping heat and the components needed to run the engine! Can dsm link handle this or should i get aem ems?
