Hit up the classifieds on www.evolutionm.net and they pop up on ebay every now and then. Keep in mind, the evo sterinig wheel isn't a bolt on, the hub is different. You can have the hub from a 1g welded on and then it will bolt up no problem.

ineed a better steering whell for my 97 gsx and it has to have airbags.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to be able to see what's next after the first impact, and maybe be able to steer around it.

That'd be a dealer, $1200. Or, maybe half that from a junk yard.

and i'm still not sure it will work to use an evo wheel on my gsx.

A wheel's a wheel. The splines won't fit a DSM, and there's every chance the airbag won't work once being re-wired. But, as with all airbags, you don't know if they'll work until after it might have mattered anyway.

as they say to each his own, but i some of the momo wheels, kinda steep price on them, ebay has some wheels but i wonder how good they are, anyone have 1?

As defiant said expect to spend around 1200 for it cause when it get shipped unless you pick it 1 from a dealer its alot of money for shipping cause its a hazardous material, but that shit would look hot on a 2g to bad I cant put 1 in my 1G =(

Why does it have to have airbags?

well i dont know about in colorado, but in california, its illegal to take out an airbag from a car that had one, unless it is not registered for street use.
