Hi Guys,

I replaced my clutch & flywheel today... Everything went good! Put back everything where they belong... Now my car's wideband is red lining at 17-18.... but car is running good... Any ideas on what is going on? 2g gsx...

More information, please.

If the new flywheel lighter?

Are you seeing the 17-18 at idle or under load? (not sure if "red lining" referred to the gauge or the RPMs)

I think he is referring to "red lining" as going all the way lean on his gauge. Have you checked to see if you have any exhaust leaks as you probably removed the exhaust when doing the tranny?

If I had to guess - which we're not supposed to, of course, but don't have much option when the facts are not clear - I'd say that he put in a lighter flywheel, started the car and it ran lean, so he shut it off and posted. All he needs to do is let the car idle for a while and his LTFTs will adjust and all will be well.

But again, we don't guess around here. We pose hypotheticals that straddle the line between deduction and inference, but we don't guess. tee hee

Oh sorry guy's, I replaced my Ebay F1 stage 2 clutch and 11 lb flywheel. To a ACT 2100 with a 8 lb flywheel... I just got minor upgrades. 550's, 16g, AEM fuel rail and fpr, Wally 255, AEM Wideband, SAFC 2.... Everything else is stock... I'm thinking it's my 02 sensor. I guess the shop that I went to for tuning forgot to screw it back. Because when i was removing the down pipe it wasn't connected. What do you guys think? Thank's for the advice!
